3 Secret Strategies Of Online Recruiting

If you’re tired of prospecting friends and family, doing home meetings, cold calling, chasing after everyone you meet, or being accused of spamming, then you’re probably ready to build your network marketing business online the right way.

As a busy, working full time mom of three, time was a big factor for me, so doing home parties, sending copy and paste messages to everyone and posting awkward stuff on social media were not my best options.

I wanted a solution that would extend my warm market, get me more prospects AND was super efficient.

Transform your personal profile into a social media recruiting machine

First thing you need to do is to look at your Facebook profile and ask yourself a question: 

“Does this profile look like it belongs to a sales person or someone of high value and influence?”

If you chose the first option, then you have some cleaning up to do or you’ll repel most of your potential prospects.

People don’t go on Social media to buy products, they go there to socialize with friends, get educated and entertained. The last thing they want to experience here is to be sold.

As a social media influencer, your profile on Facebook is your “first impression” , your business card to someone you reach out to.

The first thing they’re going to do is check out who you are and see if you’re worth messaging back or working with.

Here are some tips that will help you with this:

Your profile should be NOT about you but about people you want to help.

Tell people everywhere you can what you help them DO.


in your content, your about sections, your banners and your posts.

Secret strategy #2. Find and connect with your perfect prospects intentionally.

If you do this simple exercise you could instantly find people that will build a great business for you:

  • Think about the leadership in your company.. picture your favorite upline/leader
  • What type of person are they? What is their previous profession? What characteristics to they posses?
  • Where would this person hang out?
  • What type of fan pages would they like? What groups would they be a part of?
  • What celebrities/magazines would they be drawn to?

After you figure out the answers to these questions, go searching on pages and groups that those people are most likely to hang out in, and start creating connections with those people, by

commenting and liking their posts,

showing up on their FB lives,

letting them know how much you appreciate them and eventually

sending them friend request and

moving  that relationship onto private messaging without trying to recruit them or sell them your products.

Be a human first and network marketer second.

You need to invest into any relationship before asking for a sale.

Important reminder – don’t randomly message everyone, message people with that particular characteristic that stood out to you based on their contribution to the group or page!

You’ll save yourself a lot of time and headache as a social media recruiter if you pick the RIGHT types of people vs. the wrong ones.

Reach out to them with purpose, establish a connection with these people and lead them where you want them to go by asking the right questions.

Be genuinely interested in them and find out how your products and services can help them.

Secret strategy #3. Follow a proven to work practical passive recruiting blueprint to get leverage and save time.

Although active prospecting described in step 2 is very effective, it requires investing a lot of time, which I did not have. 

That’s why I’m offering you another strategy that will do all the heavy lifting for you, so you spend your time only talking to people who are ready to buy or join.

Passive social media recruiting is not about finding the right people…

It’s about them finding YOU by posting valuable content or information that inspires people to reach out to you and ask you what you’re doing.

To be honest with you, I prefer to start the conversation with somebody when they’re reaching out.

They are coming to you—instead of the other way around.

Then you’re able to create leverage and scale.
